Is there a difference?
Everything communicates. Certainly, tone and body language account for the majority of communication, but there is the underlying sentiment of inconvenience that distracts from the message of genuine service. As an interviewer, It's more convincing to select the one who thoughtfully relays, "I care" versus "I could care less." Verbiage is powerful even when we don't mean it to be.
